Em is a seventeen year old girl attendingthe extremely private school, blank St. Rita's Academy for Gifted Youths. The school is one of the top in the country, especially for artistically inclined students such as Em. The student body lives on campus, essentially its own little town, and the presence of social cliques is wide spread.

Eccentric and outgoing, Em is constantly being turned in for breaking some rule it seems by another student, Larisa. Larisa is the captain of the swim team, very popular, and prides herself on being highly intelligent. The series follows Em and her best friends, Lyn a gifted writer, but the quiet one in the group and Bea a very upbeat and bubbly girl who has an unusual interest in weather, often inventing contraptions in an attempt to predict the weather or understand it better

Rationale
The story is in a very popular style that every girl can relate to in some way. As each new generation grows older, there is always a need for new stories to teach the typical ‘life lessons’.


Style Guide
The main female character is dressed in a somber blue of a school uniform, but with very bright details, very bright colors such as hot pink and yellow. She has dark auburn hair in contrast with a delicate skin tone, and bright green eyes. She has a rather slim build.

Her friends will have equally different, unnatural colors, showing the unique personalities

The ‘bad’ girl of the film will encompass the typical snobby rich popular girl, golden blond hair, very tan skin, very warm colors, but muted. Her friends follow the same color patterns, but are far more plain then Larisa.

A large font would be used in promotional items, rounded, but slightly eccentric like the main character.
